We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager – Retirement Living to lead operations across our portfolio of retirement living communities in Queensland and New South Wales.

This is a pivotal, senior leadership opportunity where you will oversee village operations, support site managers and teams, and ensure an exceptional standard of service for our residents.

As the key regional leader, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance, enhancing occupancy, and cultivating a culture of operational excellence, compliance, and resident satisfaction. Ability to travel interstate regularly is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Retirement Village Managers across multiple locations.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and adherence to compliance frameworks.
  • Drive the implementation of cross-site initiatives to enhance resident experience and operational outcomes.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team aligned with our values.
  • Lead workforce planning, performance management, and succession strategies.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key connector between site teams and organisational leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including sales, care, and operations.
  • Represent the organisation in meetings with resident committees and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive occupancy across villages to meet or exceed targets (95–100%).
  • Oversee and contribute to budget planning and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise revenue, streamline operations, and enhance service offerings.

About You:

  • Minimum two years’ experience as a Retirement Village Manager or in a senior operational leadership role within the sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop multi-site teams across diverse functions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving financial and occupancy targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of an organisation.
  • In-depth understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly across VIC and TAS.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial oversight, and sales strategy implementation.
