Strengthen Performance. Support Leaders. Elevate Care Across Your Portfolio.

Are you a highly experienced aged care leader who can step into diverse environments, build capability, and drive consistent high performance across multiple services?

Respect is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Regional Support Manager to partner with our Regional Area Manager and provide hands-on operational and clinical leadership support across a portfolio of residential aged care homes within a dedicated region.

This is a pivotal senior role designed to strengthen leadership capability, stabilise operations where required, and ensure excellence in care delivery and performance outcomes across the region.

About the Role

The Regional Support Manager operates as a senior roaming leader within their allocated portfolio of aged care homes.

Aligned to and partnered with the Regional Area Manager, you will provide embedded leadership support, operational oversight, and strategic input across multiple services. This role is ideal for a proven General Manager who has successfully led complex homes and is confident influencing outcomes across a broader regional portfolio.

You will:

  • Partner closely with the Regional Area Manager to execute regional strategy and priorities

  • Provide hands-on operational and clinical leadership support across your portfolio of homes

  • Step into services requiring additional leadership, performance uplift, or stabilisation

  • Coach, mentor and develop General Managers and leadership teams

  • Support homes through accreditation, unannounced audits, and regulatory engagement

  • Drive improvements in occupancy, funding optimisation, financial sustainability and care outcomes

  • Monitor KPIs across clinical governance, workforce, and financial performance

  • Assist with workforce planning, roster optimisation, and leadership capability development

  • Support the management of complex complaints, workforce matters and risk issues

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and broader organisational projects

  • Relieve General Managers during extended absences or transitional periods

This role requires regular travel within your region.

About You

You are a credible and resilient leader who brings both operational depth and strategic thinking. You have a proven track record of leading successful residential aged care services and are confident supporting multiple homes to achieve measurable improvement.

You bring:

  • Demonstrated success as a Residential Aged Care General Manager or equivalent senior leadership role

  • Experience overseeing or supporting multiple services within a portfolio environment

  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance frameworks and Aged Care Quality Standards

  • Proven ability to improve occupancy, workforce stability, financial performance and care outcomes

  • Exceptional leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving capability

  • Adaptability and the ability to quickly assess and prioritise in varied service environments

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Current Driver’s Licence and capacity for regular regional travel

  • NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain)
