About the Role

Bayview Haven offers the best of both worlds: a rewarding aged care career in a relaxed, coastal-style setting. Our team delivers high-quality, personalised care in a modern, welcoming home surrounded by landscaped gardens, outdoor green spaces, and light-filled community areas. With freshly prepared meals, engaging lifestyle programs, and strong on-call clinical and operational support, staff are empowered to focus on meaningful care and genuine connection. Whether you’re already part of the local community or looking for a fresh start by the coast, Bayview Haven is a supportive, close-knit workplace where you can grow your career and enjoy a better pace of life.

We are seeking a confident and capable RN to join our aged care community and play a key role in delivering exceptional, person-centred care. This position is advertised as full-time, offering the opportunity to become an integral part of our team, however part-time and casual opportunities are also available for the right candidate.

You will bring strong clinical judgement, the ability to think on your feet, and the confidence to provide guidance and support to colleagues while ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care. This role is ideal for a nurse who leads with integrity and is passionate about fostering a culture built on dignity, respect, and clinical excellence.

If you are motivated by meaningful work and want to be part of a team that genuinely values both its residents and its staff, we would love to hear from you.

No two days are the same! As Registered Nurse you will:

  • Complete required funding assessments and clinical documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance and supporting optimal funding and quality care outcomes.
  • Maintain high-quality, contemporaneous documentation that accurately reflects care delivery and clinical decision-making
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants, supporting safe practice and professional standards
  • Always uphold confidentiality and ensure staff work safely and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Provide clear, concise shift handover and reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, and identify training and development needs within the team

About You

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with no restrictions to practice
  • Demonstrated clinical experience, preferably within aged care or a related healthcare setting
  • Sound knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and best practice
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and documentation skills
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including night duty, as required

Perks & Benefits

  • As a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to $15,900 per year for living expenses, bills, rent, mortgage and groceries. Take advantage of a further $2,650 to pay for meals out or holiday accommodation
  • Training and development pathways
  • Supportive leaders who are onsite
  • A friendly, down-to-earth workplace
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career in aged care
