About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Maleny Erowal, you will deliver safe, competent, and person-centred clinical care within your AHPRA scope of practice. Working alongside a supportive team, you will ensure the health, wellbeing, and dignity of our residents remain the focus of everything you do.

You will report directly to the Care Manager and General Manager, and play a vital role in leading, supporting, and mentoring care staff in their daily work.

Key Duties

  • Provide high-quality clinical care and support to residents

  • Conduct admissions, assessments, and care planning in consultation with residents and families

  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation

  • Administer medications safely and manage related records in line with policies

  • Contribute to AN-ACC/ACFI assessments and reporting

  • Support residents with daily needs, including personal care and wellbeing activities

  • Collaborate with GPs, allied health, and the broader care team to deliver holistic care

  • Promote infection control, safety, and compliance with accreditation standards

Essential Requirements

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • Strong clinical, leadership, and documentation skills

  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards and compliance requirements

  • Understanding of aged care funding and documentation processes (AN-ACC/ACFI)

  • Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirements
