About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in Charge, you’ll lead and support our care team during your shifts to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You’ll play a key role in coordinating resident care, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Duties:

  • Lead the clinical team during your shift, ensuring high standards of care
  • Coordinate and oversee the care provided to residents
  • Complete clinical documentation and ensure compliance with aged care standards
  • Support and mentor care staff and ENs
  • Administer medications and monitor residents’ health
  • Manage emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Liaise with families, GPs, allied health professionals, and management

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills
  • A passion for aged care and person-centred service
  • Flexibility to work across shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends
  • Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
