The Role
As a Social Care Assistant, you will work alongside the lifestyle team to help deliver engaging activities that support residents’ wellbeing, independence, and social connection.
You will play an important role in creating a positive and enjoyable environment for residents through group activities, events, and one on one engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting with lifestyle and recreational activities
• Supporting residents to participate in social programs
• Encouraging independence and engagement
• Assisting with activity planning and setup
• Supporting outings, events, and group activities
• Building positive relationships with residents and families
What You Can Bring
• Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health, Individual Support, or a related qualification
• A genuine interest in supporting older people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Friendly and engaging personality
• Current National Police Certificate
