About the Role
The Transformation & System Optimisation Manager is responsible for leading organisational change initiatives, system enhancements, and operational redesign across residential and/or community aged care services.
The role ensures alignment with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, the Aged Care Act 1997 (and associated reforms), and contemporary best practice in clinical governance, workforce optimisation, and digital transformation.
This position drives sustainable improvements in care delivery, compliance, financial performance, workforce efficiency, and resident/client experience through structured transformation programs and system optimisation strategies.
Tertiary qualification in Health Management, Business, Project Management, Nursing or related discipline
Significant operational experience within Australian residential aged care
Demonstrated success leading complex organisational transformation initiatives
Strong knowledge of aged care regulatory and funding frameworks
Experience with care management, HR, payroll and workforce rostering systems
Formal project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent) (Desirable)
Experience leading digital transformation or enterprise system implementation (Desirable)
Lead organisation-wide transformation initiatives aligned to aged care reforms, funding changes and regulatory requirements
Drive structured change management to embed sustainable operational improvements
Optimise clinical, workforce, finance and rostering systems to improve efficiency and performance
Redesign workflows and implement system enhancements to strengthen data integrity and automation
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement lean improvements to support care minute compliance and financial sustainability
Ensure alignment with Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding requirements and clinical governance obligations
Develop performance dashboards and translate data into actionable insights for leaders
Partner with Executive and Operational teams to deliver measurable improvements in compliance, workforce optimisation and resident experience
