The Care Manager plays a critical leadership role in delivering clinical and operational excellence. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for:
Planning, allocating, and overseeing staff duties and resident care delivery
Ensuring compliance with clinical standards, policies, and procedures
Providing strong leadership, guidance, and mentoring within a resident-focused environment
Managing human, material, and financial resources efficiently and in line with budgetary guidelines
Supporting a positive team culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and innovation
Leading and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and accreditation processes
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current AHPRA registration
Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential aged care
Proven nursing leadership or management experience
Strong clinical knowledge aligned with contemporary best practice
Sound understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding instruments (e.g. ACFI)
Experience participating in accreditation and quality improvement processes
Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
Ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
