The Opportunity

The Care Manager plays a critical leadership role in delivering clinical and operational excellence. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for:

• Planning, allocating, and overseeing staff duties and resident care delivery

• Ensuring compliance with clinical standards, policies, and procedures

• Providing strong leadership, guidance, and mentoring within a resident-focused environment

• Managing human, material, and financial resources efficiently and in line with budgetary guidelines

• Supporting a positive team culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and innovation

• Leading and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and accreditation processes

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current AHPRA registration

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential aged care

• Proven nursing leadership or management experience

• Strong clinical knowledge aligned with contemporary best practice

• Sound understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards, and funding instruments (e.g. ACFI)

• Experience participating in accreditation and quality improvement processes

• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain

• Ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
