Respect Aged Care is seeking an experienced Care Manager (or Clinical Coordinator ready for the next step) to lead the clinical team at our Emerald facility in Queensland.

About the Role

As Care Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day care operations of the facility. Working closely with the Facility Manager and a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will ensure residents receive the highest standard of care while fostering a collaborative and positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support clinical staff to achieve outstanding resident outcomes.

  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance, aged care standards, and accreditation requirements.

  • Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and health professionals.

  • Promote continuous improvement in clinical practice and service delivery.

  • Support staff education and professional development.

  • Conduct audits and assessments to monitor resident wellbeing and drive quality improvements.

  • Collaborate with the broader Respect Aged Care network to share expertise and strengthen outcomes.

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Care Manager or Clinical Coordinator in aged care.

  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation, and compliance.

  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills.

  • Proficiency with aged care software (e.g., AutumnCare, LeeCare, or similar).

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining resident-focused care.
