Chef Supervisor, Mitchell House, Morwell, VIC

Respect Aged Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef Supervisor to lead our catering team at Mitchell House. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position focused on delivering high-quality, nutritious meals for our 45 residents.

Founded in 1922, Respect Aged Care is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing exceptional care and fostering communities of belonging for older Australians. We operate across multiple states, supporting residents in aged care homes, retirement villages, and home care services.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Catering Department

• Lead, supervise, and support food service staff

• Plan and prepare meals that meet nutritional and cultural requirements

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, accreditation, and regulatory requirements

• Implement, monitor, and evaluate the Food Safety Program

Requirements:

• Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent

• Food Handling and Food Safety Supervisor Certificates

• Experience in residential aged care and hospitality

• Leadership and team management skills

• Proficient computer literacy

• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain)
