About the Role

RM Begg is a beautifully appointed aged care residence offering 90 spacious private rooms, each thoughtfully designed with expansive ensuites, built-in wardrobes, and convenient in-room amenities including telephones and high-speed internet. Our home provides a refined and welcoming environment, with a range of elegant private and semi-private indoor and outdoor spaces for residents and staff to enjoy. Surrounded by exquisite gardens, tranquil courtyards, and picturesque walking paths, RM Begg offers a peaceful and supportive setting — making it not only a wonderful place to live, but also a truly rewarding place to work.

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working in a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared living areas, and facilities, while consistently meeting high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This position is available on both a part-time and casual basis and requires a reliable and dependable team member with the flexibility to work a rotating roster. We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of creating a comfortable, home-like environment.

No two days are the same! As Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
• Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality standards
