About the Role 

Working closely with the General Manager, Care Manager, and Care Coordinator (where applicable), you will play a key role in ensuring clinical practices, documentation, and care systems align with organisational standards, professional expectations, and aged care regulatory requirements.

This position is ideal for a clinically driven RN who is passionate about continuous improvement, supporting staff capability, and driving positive resident outcomes through strong clinical oversight and governance.

 

No two days are the same! As a Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator, you will: 

  • Provide clinical oversight to ensure care delivery aligns with best practice, legislation, and organisational standards
  • Conduct clinical audits and reviews to monitor care quality, compliance, and resident outcomes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement strategies to address identified gaps or risks
  • Ensure readiness for accreditation and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
  • Review resident clinical records and support complex care assessments, case reviews, and high-risk resident monitoring
  • Assist with incident management, investigations, risk mitigation, and preventative action planning
  • Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and education to nursing and care teams to strengthen capability and best practice
  • Monitor clinical systems, documentation, and data integrity to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of care activities

 About You 

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated experience in residential aged care and advanced clinical assessment skills
  • Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and compliance requirements
  • Experience conducting clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and accreditation preparation
  • High-level clinical documentation, review, and care planning skills
  • Experience supporting incident management, risk assessment, and corrective action processes
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills with the ability to support and guide staff
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and clinical software systems
