About the Role 

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our team in a supportive rural aged care home. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in delivering person-centred care and enhancing the daily lives, wellbeing, and independence of our residents.

Working closely with a collaborative clinical and care team, you will assist residents with activities of daily living including personal care, mobility, meals, and social engagement, while building meaningful relationships and creating a warm, welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference within a close-knit regional community where your contribution is valued and appreciated each day.

We are looking for team members who are passionate about aged care, demonstrate empathy and respect, and are committed to providing high-quality care that supports dignity, choice, and quality of life for every resident.

No two days are the same! As Personal Care Worker, you will: 

• Provide personal care including assistance with showering, dressing and grooming
• Support residents with mobility and safe manual handling
• Assist with meals, hydration, and daily living activities
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health and wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans

About You 

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar role (desirable)
• A genuine passion for caring for older people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Ability to work across a variety of shifts
• Understanding of person-centred care
• Current National Police Check and NDIS (or willingness to obtain)
