Looking for a role where you can use your cooking skills to make a real difference? We’re on the hunt for a friendly and reliable Cook/Food Services Assistant to join our team at Respect Aged Care, Edward Collick Home in Kalgoorlie.

This role includes working weekends as the cook on shift, so flexibility and willingness to pitch in when needed are a must.

What you will be doing:

• Preparing and serving tasty, nutritious meals for our residents.

• Helping out with general food service duties – from plating up to keeping the kitchen clean and organised.

• Supporting residents’ dietary needs while keeping meals enjoyable and homely.

• Working with the team to make sure everything runs smoothly in the kitchen.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in cooking (aged care or large-scale meal prep is a bonus).

• A Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to get one).

• Someone who enjoys working in a team but can also run a kitchen shift independently.

• A positive, caring attitude and pride in your work.

• Availability to work weekends for cook shifts.
