The Position

We are currently seeking a Part Time Food Service Cook to join our team at Ingham Lodge.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for residents, ensuring food is nutritious, well presented, and prepared in line with dietary requirements and food safety standards. You will also support the day to day operations of the kitchen and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents.

About You

• Previous experience as a cook in aged care, healthcare, or a similar environment
• Relevant food handling or commercial cookery qualification, or willingness to obtain
• A genuine interest in working in aged care
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Current National Police Certificate suitable for aged care
