We are seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to drive best-practice quality systems and ensure our homes remain audit-ready, resident-focused and continuously improving.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a strong background in aged care quality and compliance who is passionate about raising standards and embedding a culture of accountability and learning.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Quality & Risk Officer, you will lead and coordinate the organisation’s Quality Management Program across all residential aged care facilities.
You’ll oversee site audits, support operational leaders, monitor clinical risk, and ensure compliance with legislative and accreditation requirements, all while championing continuous improvement.
This is a role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on operational support, including regular site visits.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate quality and compliance audits across all sites
Oversee and support the Quality & Compliance team
Ensure all facilities are prepared for unannounced external audits at all times
Monitor and mitigate clinical care risks within agreed timeframes
Provide clinical KPI reporting at governance, organisational and service levels
Maintain and improve the organisation’s Quality Management Systems
Support responses to Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission audits
Assist in investigating high-level complaints and critical incidents
Contribute to policy development and best-practice clinical processes
Support implementation and optimisation of clinical systems (e.g., Leecare)
About You
You are a strategic thinker with strong operational insight and a passion for quality in aged care. You’re confident working across multiple sites and partnering with leaders to drive improvement.
Essential:
Bachelor of Nursing (Registered Nurse)
Current AHPRA registration
Extensive knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
Demonstrated senior leadership experience in quality systems management
Strong analytical and reporting capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain)
Formal qualifications in quality management frameworks (desirable)
