We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Personal Care Assistant to join our caring team at Masters Lodge in Urraween, QLD, and support our residents in living their best lives. This is a part time position with flexibility required to work across a varied shift roster, including weekends.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital part in our residents’ daily lives, assisting with personal care, encouraging independence, and ensuring each individual feels safe, respected, and valued. Working under the guidance of our experienced clinical team, your compassion and attention to detail will shine through in every task you do.
Provide daily personal care with dignity and empathy
Support residents with meals, hygiene, and mobility
Accurately record observations and report changes in residents’ health
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and care teams
Assist with lifestyle activities and general duties around the facility
Promote safety, wellbeing, and a clean environment
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
Current National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
NDIS check (or willingness to obtain)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in residential aged care
Passion for working with older people and people with disabilities
