Are you a passionate and experienced Care Manager ready to lead with purpose in a values-driven aged care organisation? Respect Aged Care is currently seeking a committed Registered Nurse to take on a shared Care Manager role across our Avonlea and Coates homes. This is a full-time position (76 hours per fortnight), working Monday to Friday, with flexibility to support operational needs where required.

This unique opportunity will see you working 5 days per fortnight at Avonlea and 5 days per fortnight at Coates. The successful candidate will be allocated a base home (based on residential location), with travel reimbursement provided when working at the alternate site.

The Opportunity

The Care Manager plays a critical leadership role in delivering clinical and operational excellence across two homes. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for:

  • Planning, allocating, delegating and overseeing resident care delivery in accordance with clinical best practice

  • Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical policies, and legislative requirements

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting nursing and care teams to deliver excellence in care

  • Overseeing care planning, documentation, assessments and funding requirements

  • Contributing to accreditation processes, audits and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Supporting effective resource management, including staffing and budget considerations

  • Fostering a positive, collaborative team environment across both sites

You will play a pivotal role in strengthening clinical governance, driving quality outcomes, and supporting teams to deliver person-centred care.


What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and current AHPRA registration

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential aged care

  • Previous nursing leadership or management experience

  • Strong clinical assessment skills and contemporary best practice knowledge

  • Sound understanding of aged care legislation, Quality Standards, and funding requirements

  • Experience contributing to accreditation and quality improvement processes

  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements

*The successful applicant will receive a salary between the range of $125,000 -$131,000*
