About the Role

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll help make sure our residents live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. You’ll be responsible for general cleaning tasks across the home, and may also help with laundry when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and more

• Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and carpet cleaning

• Managing waste and restocking supplies

• Using cleaning products safely and correctly

• Following infection control procedures

• Supporting a tidy and hazard-free environment

• Assisting with laundry when required

• Working as part of a supportive team

What We’re Looking For

• Some experience in cleaning (aged care experience is a bonus)

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices

• A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)

• A good attitude and strong attention to detail

• Ability to follow routines and work independently

• Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirements
