Respect is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities and Operations Manager to ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our aged care facilities. This hands-on role provides operational and project support across property maintenance, help desk services, and facility upgrades to enhance resident wellbeing and staff safety.
Working within our Property & Development team, you will oversee day-to-day building operations, manage service requests, and coordinate projects such as refurbishments, compliance upgrades, and equipment installations. All aligned with aged care standards and regulatory requirements.
This is a remote role with opportunities to work across multiple sites and collaborate with project managers, maintenance officers, and stakeholders across the Respect network.
Qualification or experience in Facilities Management, Property Services, Building Maintenance, or Project Management.
Current Australian Driver’s License.
Knowledge of building systems and essential services relevant to aged care.
Understanding of aged care compliance requirements.
Experience providing help desk support in a diverse environment.
Strong organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills.
Proficiency with project management tools and maintenance management systems (MyBuildings preferred).
Current National Police Check, NDIS Clearance, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable:
Knowledge of project management principles, OH&S practices, and compliance documentation.
Experience in aged care or retirement living facilities.
