This dual role combines responsibilities across both food services and cleaning services. You’ll be an important part of our team, contributing to residents’ wellbeing by ensuring they receive nutritious meals and enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Food Services
Assist with meal preparation, plating, and service.
Deliver meals and refreshments to residents in a friendly and timely manner.
Support the Food Safety Program (FSP), including recording temperatures and receipting goods.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food service areas.
Cleaning Services
Carry out general cleaning tasks across the facility, ensuring high hygiene and infection control standards.
Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other spaces as required.
Safely use and store cleaning products and equipment.
Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to meet legislative Aged Care Worker Screening requirements.
Experience in food services and/or cleaning within aged care, health care, or hospitality (preferred but not essential).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care.
