Food, Cleaning & Laundry Services Assistant

Are you looking for a flexible role where no two days are the same? Respect Aged Care is seeking Casual All-Rounder Assistants to join our friendly team at Gracemere Gardens in Gracemere, QLD.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll provide support across food services, cleaning, and laundry to help ensure our residents enjoy nutritious meals, a clean and safe environment, and freshly laundered clothing and linen. If you’re reliable, caring, and eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role

• Food Services: Assist with meal preparation, plating, delivery, and cleaning in line with our Food Safety Program.

• Cleaning: Carry out cleaning tasks in resident rooms and communal areas, ensuring high hygiene standards.

• Laundry: Assist with sorting, washing, drying, and returning residents’ clothing and facility linen.

• Team Support: Be adaptable and ready to step in where needed to support the smooth running of daily operations.

What We Are Looking For

• A genuine commitment to supporting older Australians with respect and compassion.

• Willingness to work across food services, cleaning, and laundry (training provided).

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, depending on roster needs.

• Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team.

Requirements

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

• NDIS Worker Screening Card (or willingness to obtain).
