The Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll work under the guidance of our clinical team to provide compassionate, person-centred care. You’ll support residents with daily living activities, ensuring they maintain independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care tailored to individual needs and preferences.

  • Assist with meals and refreshments.

  • Accurately document care activities and report exceptions to the care plan.

  • Support meal planning by checking daily menu requirements.

  • Carry out tasks delegated by Registered or Enrolled Nurses.

  • Contribute to a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.

  • Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A genuine passion for aged care and improving the lives of older people.

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
