We are looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our team at Chaffey House in Merbein, Victoria. This is a permanent full-time role, offering stability and the opportunity to grow with a supportive team. You will be the go-to person for keeping our grounds tidy, gardens thriving, and facility in good working order so our residents can enjoy a safe, welcoming, and beautiful place to live.

What you will be doing

• Mowing lawns, trimming edges, and tending to gardens and plants

• Carrying out general repairs and upkeep around the facility

• Helping to keep outdoor areas clean, tidy, and safe

• Maintaining tools, equipment, and supplies in good order

• Assisting with small maintenance tasks indoors as needed

• Supporting the overall presentation of our site for residents and visitors

What we are looking for

• Someone who enjoys outdoor work and takes pride in a job well done

• General handyman skills and basic gardening knowledge

• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks

• A current driver’s licence

• A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
