We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Services Assistant to join our team at Reed Estate Retirement Village, Prospect Vale. You will be the heart of our outdoor spaces, helping gardens flourish, lawns stay pristine, and our villages remain safe, welcoming, and beautiful places for our residents to call home. You may also be asked to assist at other villages across Launceston on an ad hoc basis.

Mowing lawns, trimming edges, pruning shrubs, and caring for gardens, flower beds, and indoor plants.
Watering, fertilising, mulching, and maintaining plants to keep gardens healthy and thriving year-round.
Performing general repairs, maintenance, and upkeep around the village.
Keeping outdoor areas clean, tidy, and safe for residents and visitors.
Maintaining tools, equipment, and supplies in good working order.
Assisting with small indoor maintenance tasks as needed.
Supporting the overall presentation and appearance of our villages.
A love of gardening and outdoor work, with pride in a job well done.
General handyman skills and basic gardening knowledge (pruning, planting, lawn care).
Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently.
A current driver’s licence.
A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Work in a friendly, supportive team environment.
