About the Role
We are currently seeking Permanent Part-Time Personal Care Assistants to join our dedicated care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to residents, working under the guidance of the senior clinical team to ensure safe, respectful, and person-centred care.
To be successful in this role, you must be available to work across all shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive environment where compassion, dignity, and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
No two days are the same! As a Personal Care Assistant, you will:
- Support residents with personal care and daily activities, promoting independence, dignity, and choice.
- Assist with meals and refreshments, ensuring residents’ needs and preferences are met.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ wellbeing, recording information accurately and escalating concerns to the EN/RN.
- Follow and contribute to individual care plans to deliver safe, person-centred care.
- Complete tasks as directed by the RN/EN, including general ward and care duties.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.
About You
You’ll thrive with us if you have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent).
- A genuine passion for working in aged care and supporting older people.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including accurate documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience in providing personal care and daily living support.
- Flexible availability to work across a range of shifts.
- A current National Police Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
