Recruitment Specialist

  • Remote, TAS, Australia
  • Full time

Love matching great people with meaningful work? This is your chance to use your recruitment skills to make a real impact in the lives of older Australians. All while working with a supportive, down-to-earth team that values what you bring.

Why You Will Love This Role

We are on the lookout for a confident and capable Recruitment Specialist to join us during a maternity leave contract. You will step into a fast-paced but rewarding role, supporting managers across multiple locations and helping us attract the right people at the right time.

This isn’t your standard recruitment gig. Every role you fill, from nurses to hospitality staff, has a direct impact on ensuring older Australians live with dignity, purpose, and respect. It’s work that matters.

And the best part? You can do it all remotely (we are especially keen to hear from candidates based in Melbourne!).

About Respect

Since 1922, Respect Aged Care has been more than just an aged care provider. We are a not-for-profit organisation with a simple goal: to create communities where every older person feels valued, safe, and respected.

We’re expanding quickly across Victoria, Tasmania, NSW, WA and QLD. That means plenty of variety, a diverse range of roles to recruit, and the opportunity to stretch your skills in an organisation that’s truly values-driven.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Running end-to-end recruitment across a broad mix of roles

  • Partnering with hiring managers to design creative sourcing strategies

  • Writing job ads that actually attract great people

  • Managing reference checks, compliance, and onboarding steps

  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for candidates (because the experience matters!)

  • Advising on best practice recruitment and helping us continuously improve

What You Will Bring

  • Recruitment experience (in-house or agency)

  • Great people skills and a knack for building relationships

  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities without breaking a sweat

  • Comfortable working independently, but a team player at heart

  • Confident using recruitment systems (we use PageUp)

  • Experience in health, aged care, or community services (bonus points)

  • Knowledge of awards/industrial instruments (nice to have, not essential)

You will also need (or be willing to obtain):

  • A current National Police Check

 Why Work With Us?

  • Purpose-driven work where your impact is immediate

  • Not-for-profit salary packaging = more money in your pocket

  • Learning and development opportunities to grow your career

  • A genuinely positive team that cares about people (not just KPIs)

Our Values

We live and breathe:
Respect | Care | Teamwork | Courage | Integrity | Innovation | Excellence

*The successful applicant will receive a salary between the range of $80,000-$90,000*
