Respect is a not-for-profit organisation proud to support older Australians across our network of aged care homes, retirement villages and home care services. We are now seeking reliable and dedicated Casual Cleaning and Laundry Services Assistants to join our teams at Hudson House and Yallambee, in Cooma NSW.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and has a genuine desire to contribute to a caring, resident-focused environment.
Working across both facilities, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and laundry services. You will support residents, visitors and staff by helping keep our facilities safe, welcoming and well-presented.
Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, weekends and public holidays, depending on operational needs.
Cleaning Services
Clean resident rooms, common areas, dining spaces and bathrooms to a high standard
Follow infection control procedures and use cleaning equipment safely
Maintain a tidy, hygienic and welcoming environment throughout the facility
Laundry Services
Collect, sort, wash, dry and fold linen and personal laundry
Ensure correct use of laundry equipment and chemicals
Return items to residents with care and attention
General Responsibilities
Follow organisational cleaning and laundry policies and procedures
Monitor and report maintenance or safety concerns
Work collaboratively with staff to support resident comfort and wellbeing
Uphold Respect’s values in all interactions
You are dependable, hardworking and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You understand that clean, safe surroundings play a vital role in the wellbeing of residents.

Desirable:
Experience in cleaning, laundry, hospitality, or aged care (not essential,we provide training)
