About the Role

At Bayview Haven, we’re proud to provide exceptional, personalised aged care in a warm and welcoming environment. Residents enjoy freshly prepared meals, engaging lifestyle programs, and access to a wide range of on-call support services tailored to individual needs. With comfortable, tastefully furnished private rooms and plenty of peaceful spaces to relax or socialise, Bayview Haven is a place where people truly feel at home.

This part-time, 6-month fixed-term role offers a consistent Monday to Wednesday schedule of 15 hours per week, providing a great opportunity to maintain a healthy work–life balance.  You will play a key role in supporting the General Manager and facility team by providing high-quality administrative, reception, rostering, and people support. As the first point of contact, you will deliver a friendly, professional, and welcoming experience for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

No two days are the same! As Administration Assistant you will:

  • Deliver professional, customer-focused reception services and general administrative support.
  • Manage office administration, including correspondence, records, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate employee rostering, timesheets, training records, and staff documentation.
  • Support finance functions such as invoices, petty cash, banking, and resident accounts.
  • Assist with resident administration, including admissions support and liaising with families.

About You

You’ll thrive with us if you have:

  • Experience in administration, ideally in aged care, health, or a service-based role.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Competence with computers and word processing.
  • An excellent ability to demonstrate confidentiality and compliance requirements.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening or National Police Check, or able to obtain one.
