Respect Aged Care is currently seeking a Permanent Part-Time Rostering Administration Officer to join our dedicated team at Coroneagh Park, Tasmania. We’re looking for a reliable and organised individual who is flexible and available to work across a range of shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability. About the Role

The Rostering Administration Officer plays a vital role in ensuring our care teams are well-supported through accurate staff rostering, timely communication, and effective administrative coordination. This role will work closely with leadership teams to manage staff availability, leave, and coverage, while contributing to the overall smooth operation of our home.

 

Key Duties

  • Develop and maintain staff rosters that align with care needs, budgets, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate shift replacements and manage staff leave requests.
  • Liaise with department managers and employees to ensure rosters are communicated effectively and updated in real-time.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and responding to internal queries.
  • Maintain accurate staff records and compliance documentation.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes where required.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused workplace culture.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in rostering and administrative support, preferably within aged care or a similar environment.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in rostering software (e.g. Humanforce, or similar systems).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
