About the Role

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will play an important part in making sure our residents live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. You will carry out a range of cleaning duties throughout the home and may assist with laundry when needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas

• Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and carpet cleaning

• Managing waste and restocking supplies

• Using cleaning products safely and correctly

• Following infection control procedures

• Helping to maintain a tidy and hazard-free environment

• Assisting with laundry when required

• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated team

What We Are Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience (aged care experience is an advantage)

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe work practices

• A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude

• Ability to follow routines and work independently

• Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening requirements
