We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead Toogoolawah Alkira Aged Care Home in Toogoolawah into its next chapter. Continuing its proud tradition of delivering exceptional aged care within a close-knit community that genuinely cares.

About the Role

As the General Manager, you will combine your clinical expertise, operational experience, and compassionate leadership to create a home where residents and staff thrive.

You will:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and safety.

• Foster an inclusive and engaged workplace culture built on teamwork, respect, and support.

• Be the face of Alkira - building strong connections with residents, families, staff, and the wider Toogoolawah community.

• Work closely with Respect Aged Care’s corporate services team, giving you the freedom to focus on what you do best: leading people and shaping culture.

About You

You will bring:

• Leadership experience in residential aged care (ideally 3+ years)

• Strong understanding of aged care quality standards and funding frameworks

• Excellent communication skills with empathy, professionalism, and integrity

• A passion for resident-centred care and a supportive team culture

• Clinical background desired but not essential
