Respect, Aged Care –Hudson House is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef Supervisor to work full-time, leading our catering team in delivering nutritious and delicious meals for our residents.  As our Chef Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that every meal is prepared to the highest standard, supporting the health and happiness of those in our care.

About the role

As our Chef Supervisor, you’ll lead the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality, nutritious meals are prepared and served to our residents with care and consistency. You’ll oversee menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff, always maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards. This full-time, Monday to Friday role offers a fantastic work–life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful difference every day by creating meals that truly enhance the wellbeing of those in our care.

Key Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and supervise the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals.
  • Lead, train, and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate the Food Safety Program.
  • Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen budgets efficiently
  • Develop seasonal menus that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences
  • Work collaboratively with care staff to provide a positive dining experience for all residents

Essential Requirements:

  • Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent
  • Food Handling and Food Safety Supervisor Certificates
  • Experience in residential aged care and hospitality
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient computer literacy
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to obtain)

*The successful applicant will receive a salary between the range of $70,000-$80,000*
